Traci started racing go-karts at the young age of seven years old. Over her 14 years of racing she has gained much experience and has earned a great deal of respect from her competitors. She has multiple wins racing karts and she will be looking for her first sprint car win in 2009 along with more victories in her Champ Kart.
Growing up with 2 brothers and her father in racing it was just a matter of time before she set foot in a race car. Ever since she was 5 years old she attended sporting events supporting her brothers playing football, baseball  and other sports. She was always there to cheer them on, but she could not overcome the intensity to drive a kart  and now a winged asphalt sprint car and to be able to compete with her brother Troy and beat him in a sprint car race like she has done in karting.
She had made a few starts in 2007 racing her father's sprint cars. She did not compete in sprint cars in 2008 but did race karts while she is looking for some sponsorship to help her start her sprint car career full time in 2009.
She started off just helping her father in the pit area and working on her brothers karts.  Traci had to do a lot of begging to her father before he would put her in a kart. No one knew that would be the start to of something very impressive.
Through her 14 years of racing karts she has won 8 local track Championships and 4 Florida State Championships with WKA and FKA. Traci also was 2002 WKA Daytona World Champion on dirt at Municipal Stadium in the Sr. Champ Class. She qualified 2nd fastest for that race which made up an all female front row.
She is now looking forward to making a lasting impression in the open wheel sprint car series. One of Traci's biggest supporters is no stranger to her, it is her brother Troy 2 time TBARA Sprint Car Champion. This brother sister combination works hard and very well together.
Who knows you might see the first brother sister team soon if she can acquire enough sponsorship. Everyone is working hard on this to make this a reality.
If anyone would like to help make Traci's dream come true and race full time in a sprint car you can email her at decairemotorsports@yahoo.com
