I grew up in a small town in northern Indiana playing baseball, football, and basketball throughout my childhood. I am a competitive person in anything that I do. I have an older brother (Brad) and sister (Tara), my father (Rick) and mom (Cheryl) have been extremely supportive and influential in my life. I moved to Florida in 2002 to start a business with my father, and met my wife soon after. I have been married for seven years to my wife (Sarah), my biggest supporter. My wife and I are starting a small business together, following my experience with a large business with my father. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and playing golf and softball. I also still spend time working with my father in his businesses, still trying to learn as much as I have over the years.

Racing Biography

At age four, I got a pw50 Yamaha motorcycle and the rest is history. My father made the decision to switch to four wheel racing and I started competitively racing at age 8 in go karts on a bullring high bank dirt oval. I won multiple track championships at a young age before venturing to asphalt ovals and road courses in go karts. In the later years of karting, I ran for a handful of different owners all over the country in divisional, national, and high purse races. When I moved to Florida , I had an opportunity to start racing shifter karts, and for the next five years, toured the state working on a completely different set of racing skills. I have used those skills to compete in some sports car races occasionally over the last few years. Generally I love racing, it is in my blood, everything from working on the cars, perfecting set ups, to the actual wheel to wheel racing. It is the only thing that clears my head and calms me down.

Growing up in Indiana , sprint car racing has always been a dream for me, many friends from over the years have moved into sprint car racing and I am truly grateful to Decaire Motorsports for giving me the opportunity to make my dream come true.
